The Buckingham Palace shared the details of the visit of King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Chelsea Flower Show 2025, also assisted by David Beckham.
Sharing the details of the visit, the palace said: “The king, as a boss of the Royal Horticultural Society, and the Queen, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke and the Duchess of Gloucester, visited the Chelsea Flower Show.”
He also declared that the monarch and the queen, accompanied by members of the royal family, were welcomed upon their arrival by the president of the Royal Horticultural Society, Keith Weed, before visiting the gardens and seeing the exhibitions at the Chelsea Flower Shower show of this year, which takes place from May 20 to 24.
Created in 1913, on the ground of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, the Chelsea Flower Show RHS has become one of the largest windows in the world for horticultural excellence, attracting winners and exhibitors from around the world. Since its inception, the show has forcefully passed.
It went from 244 exhibitors in 1913 to more than 400 horticultural exhibitions. Today, the show attracts 145,000 visitors each year.
Together, King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the RHS and BBC Radio 2 Dog Garden, designed by Monty Don. The garden, designed with dogs in mind, offers herbs for dogs to taste and a large tree providing shade.
The brick paths are registered with the names of dogs belonging to the presenters of Radio 2 and the Ambassadors of RHS, as well as to the beloved dogs of Monty Don, to reflect the special place that dogs hold in the heart and gardens of the nation.
The names of the queen adopted Jack Russell Terrier, Bluebell and her new puppy, Moley, are also on the way, alongside that of her very loved dog, Beth, who died last year. The name of the King’s dog, SNUFF, is also included on the way.
The King and Queen put an end to his visits to the show at the Bees for Development Balcony Garden, designed by Jenny FroFFE.
