Washington: President Donald Trump revealed a huge new defense project entitled The Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield.
The project will cost $ 175 billion and is designed to protect the United States from missile attacks using space satellites. Trump says the system will help protect himself against threats from countries like China and Russia.
Trump announced on Tuesday that he had selected a conception for the anti -missile defense shield and appointed a spatial force general to direct efforts to build the ambitious defense program to block threats.
Trump announced at a White House press conference that the general of the American spatial force Michael Guetlein would be the program director for what the president said he was a $ 175 billion project – an effort widely considered as the key to Trump’s military planning key.
Golden Dome “will protect our homeland,” said Trump of the Oval Office and added that Canada said it wanted to be part of it.

Tuesday’s announcement launches Pentagon’s efforts to test and, ultimately, buy the missiles, systems, sensors and satellites that will compose the Golden Dome.
