Dave Portnoy will not let anyone say that he is a Caitlin Clark fan simply because she is white.

In a recent edition of his Podcast, ESPN analyst Ryan Clark filed the founder of Barstool Sports as someone in the “hate train” of Angel Reese after his spit with Clark this weekend.

Clark said Portnoy, Keith Olbermann and Robert Griffin III made the “bad” and Clark “heroic”.

Portnoy published a video of more than six minutes in which he said that he “could not believe that I hate myself again”, answering Clark.

Portnoy has made a point of mentioning that it is “sure that there are blacks who hate Caitlin just because it is white. I’m sure there are whites who hate Angel just because it is black.”

But he is not one of these people, and he thought that Reese’s hatred was justified.

“Caitlin fans have every reason to hate Angel Reese. … Caitlin fans should hate Angel Reese. Angel Reese has only been an instigator, an agitator and Jacka – mainly in the past two years,” said Portnoy in his video.

“Angel Reese has doubled, tripled, quadrupled down and built his character as a rival of Caitlin. … This is one thing after the other, after the other. … The jealousy that Angel Reese has towards her and has always shown, Caitlin fans hate her.

“I’m tired of ESPN by making a race problem,” he continued. “You have a superior basketball player who has constantly someone below taking her gunshots, don’t be silent and then plays the victim. [Angel] Had not Caitlin, no one knows who she is. If Caitlin did not have Angel, it would be the same popularity for Caitlin. “”

Caitlin Clark talks about the WNBA probe on “ hateful comments ” presumed towards Angel Reese

Clark and Reese entered a mini-sugar after Clark increased hard; He was considered obvious. Clark then described the fault as a “good fault” because she did not want Reese to have a “two free points” under the basket. Reese agreed later despite his visible frustrations from the start.

Clark and Reese have a major story that returns to the national NCAA 2023 women’s basketball championship. The two players have minimized the incident. The two even said that there was no rivalry between them and that it was motivated by the media.

Portnoy attended the competition and said that Reese “deserved to be hue” after getting angry with Clark. He was also upset by the WNBA investigation into the alleged comments of hatred directed to Reese.

“Listen, I was in the match. If there was someone who was racist or saying —, obviously starting them, never let them come back,” said Portnoy. “I would be amazed beyond the belief if it was. … The crowd of the game of fever? Little girls, families, ladies, a beautiful crowd. Have we been crazy when Angel Reese attacked Cailtin Clark without reason? Yeah. Yeah. We were drinking? Yeah. Is it sporty? Yeah.

“For the WNBA and now Indiana fever to publish declarations:” We are investigating: “Unless something so absurd has happened that no one in the stadium saw, there is not an ounce of evidence, there is no video, there is no [no] Telephone of the camera, unless something happens, which I know not. For them to recognize this and, once again, to paint the fans of the fever of Indiana, as, by simply saying “ we investigate hate ” … Even if it is 100% false, recognizing: “ We do not tolerate hatred ”, and not seeing that it was an internet rumor based on complete bulls —, you attribute to that. “”

Clark told Holly Rowe d’Espn after the third quarter that there was “nothing malicious” behind the fault.
