Fitna al Khwarij, supported by India, behind the attack on Mir Ali, in northern Waziristan, said inter-intelligence public relations (ISPR), referring to the strike that had killed four children on Wednesday and triggered a demonstration of the local tribe on May 19.
The ISPR dissipated the allegations of security forces involvement in the attack as “entirely baseless” and part of a “coordinated disinformation campaign” aimed to discredit the efforts to combat terrorism in the region.
An investigation launched in the incident revealed that the murders were orchestrated by Fitna Al Khwarij, an Islamabad group accuses of being funded and led by Indian intelligence agencies.

“These elements – performing at the request of their Indian masters – continue to exploit civil zones and vulnerable populations as shields to carry out acts of terrorism,” the statement said.
The military said that such tactics aim to create rockets between the local population and the security forces. Despite the attack, officials said the armed forces remain attached to their mission.
“Efforts are underway to ensure that the managers of this inhuman law are brought to justice,” added the press release.
According to local sources, five people, including a woman, were also injured in the incident that was caused by a fall in ammunition by a quad-copter in a house in the village of Hormus in Mir Ali.
The age of deceased children varied from eight years to only two months.
Residents precipitated the wounded at Mir Ali Tehsil hospital, where some wounded are also in critical condition. The incident has sparked a wave of anger and grief, residents organizing a sit-in demonstration in Mir Ali Chowk since Sunday.
