Ellen Degeneres has the “broken heart” of the death of her dog, Augie.
Taking her Instagram handle on Saturday, the 67 -year -old retired actress announced the death of her dog, which she saved 12 years ago.
“We had to say goodbye to Augie yesterday. We saved him 12 years ago, and he was so grateful,” she wrote a series of photos of Augie.
“He gave us so much love. We will miss it. There will never be another,” she added.
In one of the shared images, Ellen’s partner, Portia de Rossi, can be seen snuggled with the little dog.
A few days later, the actor returned to Instagram and published a clip for herself, Portia and Augie filmed a month before his death.
“We filmed this month and plan to publish it today,” she wrote in legend.
“I don’t care what Portia says, please don’t call me the queen of the agreement. We love you, Augig,” added Ellen.
