American tennis player Danielle Collins had a few words of choice for the cameraman during her international match in Strasbourg against Emma Raducanu on Wednesday afternoon.
Collins was in the middle of a change when she felt that the cameraman’s plating plan was a little too close to comfort in the middle of the third and defining. She got off the bench and clarified the point.

“I need to get water. We are at a change. You don’t need to be so close to me, and you don’t have to be at the top of Emma. It’s extremely inappropriate,” said Collins. “It is not so difficult to give space.”
The camera was held on Collins as it filled its bottle with Raducanu water in the right blow.
Collins ended up winning the match 4-6, 6-1, 6-3, and should face Anna Kalinskaya in the quarter-final of the tournament.

Raducanu weighed what she heard from Collins during her explosion.
“I got up because I didn’t want to sit in the third set because of my back,” said Raducanu, via the tennis gazette. “I was standing because it was a little more comfortable, then she came to fill her bottle and simply said how the cameraman was very close and felt a little inappropriate, but that’s all she said.”

The two are preparing for the French Open later this month.
