- Bosgame M5 Mini-PC offers an AMD Ryzen AI Max + 395 processor
- Integrated graphics Radeon 8060s, up to 128 GB of RAM, Dual PCIe Gen 4 NVME SSDS
- There is also a performance switch, but what he does is a mystery for the moment
A new mini PC featuring Ryzen AI Max + 395 AMD chip has surfaced, but it did not come from a major brand like HP, Dell or Lenovo.
The Bosgame M5 AI Mini Desktop has discreetly increased in pre-order, at the price of $ 1,699 (a saving of $ 1,000 on its usual PDSF of $ 2,700), and it raises interesting questions about the AMD deployment strategy for its powerful range of Halo Strix processors.
The Compact M5 is delivered with integrated graphics Radeon 8060s and includes a support of up to 128 GB of RAM, SSD NVME Dual Pcie Gen 4, a front 4.0 USB 4.0, Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.4 port. A double channel cooling configuration and three heat stones aim to keep thermal performance under control.
Performance switch
As Notebook Observe, the M5 has already appeared in the results of Geekbench. The list shows a single nucleus score of 2,852, which is in line with expectations, but a multi -score of 16,044 less than the average. This probably indicates the first firmware or software problems, because the Ryzen Ai Max + 395 generally reaches averages of around 21,000 in multi -core tests.
A curious detail on the M5 is the inclusion of a “performance switch” button, briefly illustrated in the promotional material of Bosgame. We do not know what this rocking really does. It can be linked to TDP profiles, fan curves or a kind of optimization of the workload in AI, but for the moment we have no idea.
The Bosgame M5 AI Mini Desktop includes USB4 Type-C USB4 ports, several USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.1 outputs and DisplayPort 1.4 for multi-monitor configurations of 2.5 GB
A full -scale SDXC card location offers a practical support transfer for photographers and videographers, while the two audio intakes provide sound input and a flexible output.
