Objection to advocacy for Imran’s conditional release stays

Islamabad:

Friday, the High Court of Islamabad made its order written on a petition deposited by the chief minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Ali Amin Gandapur, for the liberation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insa (PTI), the founder Imran Khan on the floor, affirming that the objections raised by the Recistrar office were always supported.

CM Gandapur had moved the request for the release of Imran, which was sentenced in the case of 190 million pounds sterling, could be targeted by Indian drones in Adiala prison. The petition was heard by the acting chief of the IHC, Sardar Sarfaraz Dogar.

The registrar’s office raised the objections according to which the request was not filed by the condemned person himself and asked for how such compensation could be requested for another person. Secondly, the office said that the person for which the recovery had been requested had not been failed by the case.

Imran was convicted in the reference moved by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The registrar’s office also said that in the petition, Nab had also not been appointed to the case, in the request for parole of a convicted person.
