Kesha would have introduced a new platform for the creative community.
According to his last conversation with CableKesha launched the platform, SmashWith the Technical Director (CTO) Alan Canistraro, the chief of operation (COO) Lagan Sebert and a team of music industry and technological veterans. Kesha will serve as chief executive (CEO).
Kesha started: “My goal is to move the power structure of music from music [towards] Creators.
This platform aims to offer the safety of creators from “predatory transactions” and allow them to access the professional community they need to make music without having to fight for the property of what they create
The 38 -year -old music star also shared what inspired her to take this step by telling,
“I signed a predatory agreement at the age of 18, then I spent more than a decade fighting to find the rights of my voice and my image. When I finally acquired my freedom, I knew that the fight was not over. I want to make sure what happened to me never happens to someone else. ”
“Honestly, it gives me my whole life to make sense for me. After what I have experienced and saw the things I saw, seeing that the system is really broken. It is a transplant by people who can do what they want,” she also pointed out and noted: “It was really inspiring for me to start breaking.”
“I want a place where artists and music manufacturers of all kinds can have a community, they can collaborate, they can rent and keep all the rights over everything they create. There is no goalkeeper, ”she concluded.
