Marshal Syed Asim Munir, military chief of staff, organized a high-level dinner to pay tribute to the political leaders of Pakistan, the armed forces and to citizens for their unit and their resilience during operation Bunyanum Marsoos, according to the interiming public relations (ISPR).
The distinguished rally was honored by the Honorable President of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari; The Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif; The Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Foreign Affairs; President of the Senate; National Speaker Assembly; Federal ministers; Governors; Chief ministers; Joint committee of chiefs of staff; Air and naval chief of staff; high -senior direction of the main political parties; high -ranking government representatives; and higher officers of the three services.
In his remarks, Coas Asim Munnir thanked the political leaders for their foresight and credited Inrsam coordination for operational success during the conflict.
He also welcomed the country’s youth and media to effectively counter India’s disinformation efforts, describing them as a “steel wall” against hostile stories.
He also congratulated the role of political scientists, engineers and diplomats whose contributions turned out to be vital during the operation.

The rally ended with a shared reaffirmation of unity, patriotism and collective resolution to move forward with force and objective.
