Aaron Rodgers remains a free agent, and the quadruple MVP is still linked to Pittsburgh steelers in rumors of free agency.
Steelers Star Star, Alex Highsmith, said that rumors of the Rodgers are not a distraction for the team.
“I just have the impression in the locker room and all that, we are there, and I think that’s what it is at this stage,” said Thursday during an appearance on “The Insiders” of NFL Network on Thursday.

“I know that if he signs, we will certainly be really excited to have it. We know who he is. He is a quarter of the renowned temple. He is one of the best to do so. I would not say a distraction at all, but we all know what type of quarter-arre he is and what he brings to the table.”
The Steelers last season led 10-7 with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields as a quarter-rear leaving throughout the season. However, Wilson and Fields went to the free agency.
The fields left for the New York and Wilson jets left for the New York giants.

The Steelers have three quarters on their list – Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson and the choice of draft of sixth round Will Howard. Highsmith is excited for anyone the quarter of the team is in week 1.
“I think we are just trying to put our best foot forward each day, as with whom is in the building right now. I know Mason is there, he has done an excellent job. The guys rally around him and, as I said, he has already been with us and the guys know him, the fans of Pittsburgh know him,” said Highsmith.
“The way he helped us finish in 2023 was great. No matter what’s back for us, whether he is him or if Aaron Rodgers will come, I am just excited. Whoever is back there, we are going to have his back, and we are going to rally behind. Just excited for the one.”

With the jets last season, Rodgers launched for 3,987 yards, 28 affected and 11 interceptions in 17 games.
It remains to be seen if Rodgers decides to play in 2025 or retire after a 20 -year career for Canton.
Highsmith, in five seasons with the Steelers, had 35.5 bags in 77 career games and is a key cog in their defense.
