The joint emergency operation launched after hail

Islamabad:

In response to the strong precipitation and the hailstorm in Islamabad, the capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (MCI) and the Islamabad District Administration launched a joint emergency operation on the directives of the president of the ADC, chief commissioner of Islamabad and the Civil Defense of DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

All teams on the ground have been mobilized immediately, with clear instructions to provide maximum relief and assistance to citizens the best capacities.

In accordance with the guidelines of President CDA, the management of emergency management and disasters, as well as assistance, environmental wing, buildings control, Islamabad water agency, the road and the maintenance wing, the CDAs were responsible for quickly removing the fallen trees, the debris and other obstructions of all the main roads in Islamabad. The efforts to accelerate road cleaning and normal traffic catering has been priority.

Staff and sanitation, environmental and engineering wings have been deployed to erase blockages in the drains, sailors and water passages from the city. A special surveillance mechanism has been activated to ensure effective drainage in low areas, sub-skill and key roads.

Officials of the CDA and DMA, MCI and the District Administration are present in the field to supervise all operations directly. Continuous monitoring 24/7 of roads, drains and sensitive areas is underway to quickly treat emergencies.
