Karachi:
The chief of Jamaat-E-Islami (JI), Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, was unleashed in all the traditional political parties of the country, describing them as “private property” without internal democracy.
Speaking during an event on Sunday, Naeem said that there was no democracy in any political party in the country, with the exception of the JI. “Whether people reach parliament by farm 45 or farm 47 [through rigging or genuine vote]They belong to parts that look more like private property, “he said.
He said he called these parties that democratic is an insult to the idea of democracy. According to the head of the JI, the parties who governed the country come into power after promising allegiance to America.
“Here, people are elected as heads of political parties on the basis of wills or inheritance. All these parties – both secular and religious – are led by families.” Naeem said JI is the only exception because the party is based on a democratic system from bottom to top.
He said that political parties did not know what are the real people of people, what is the price of grocery articles and how ordinary man has to spend on gas and electricity bills.
