- Large changes arrive in Watchos and Tvos
- They apparently correspond to updates on iOS and macOS

We now know the Global Conference of Apple Developers (WWDC) for 2025 in progress on Monday June 9, and now we have more idea of the software updates likely to be announced during this year’s window.
According to Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, Apple will introduce a major interface updating for Watchos 12 and TVOS 19 – as well as iOS 19 and MacOS 16 – which is partly inspired by the appearance of Visionos Visionos software.
While iOS 19 and MacOS 16 are likely to attract more titles, Gurman already told us in March that these operating systems obtained a redesign in terms of design. Now Apple watches and Apple televisions have been added to the list.
The new look for Apple software is apparently known as the “Solarium” internally, referring to these glass rooms which let in a lot of sun, and it is said to be “smoother and more modern” in terms of appearance than current software.
A “widely felt” overhaul
We do not get a lot of details here, and Gurman has provided no screenshot of what the software interface updates could look like, but it’s just to say that the Visionos platform has a clean and elegant look that works well.
Even if the Apple Vision Pro has exactly beaten any sales recording, its software is intuitive and user -friendly, and apparently Apple wants to extend the appearance of all its other devices throughout the rest of the year.
The company generally sticks to the same calendar every 12 months: a great unveiling at WWDC, followed by several months of beta tests before the software is pushed to everyone (generally in September for iOS and Watchos).
“Although iOS 7 in 2013 was the biggest visual change in iPhone software, the last overhaul will be much more widely felt,” explains Gurman. We will of course bring you all the big announcements and news from WWDC as it occurs next month.
