Lahore:
The Met Office predicted the wind storm, the rain and the thunder in Lahore as well as other central and upper parts of the country during the current week with occasional gaps.
According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan meteorological department, humid currents permanently penetrate the country’s upper and central parts and a west wave is also likely to enter the upper parts on May 28.
Under the Influence of this Weather System, Windstorm, Rain and Thunder with isolated Heavy Falls and HailTorm are expected in Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Okara, Lahore, Faith Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sheikhupura and the Polyhohar region until Saturday with occasional shortcomings.
The wind storm with light to moderate rain and thunderous are expected in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Bhakkar, Layyah, Bahawalpur Sahiwal, Pakpattan and vehicle until Friday.
Wind, dust, thunder and hailstorm with lightning can damage loose structures such as electric posts, trees, vehicles and solar panels in affected areas.
Farmers were invited to manage their harvesting activities while keeping the weather conditions in view. Travelers and tourists were also invited to take precautionary measures.
