Fairmont police in Virginia-Western would have arrested the gold medalist on May 17 following a report on a person in a Porsche leading “all over the road”.
According to the criminal complaint, via Wnem, Reton felt alcohol and flocked her words, and she failed a sobriety test on the ground. The agents also said they had observed a wine container in the passenger seat.

Reton, 57, refused a breathing test by the roadside and a blood test. She was released from the guard after paying an obligation of personal recognition of $ 1,500.

Reton, 57, was diagnosed with a “rare form of pneumonia” in 2023, her family raising the alarm she “fought for her life”. It was placed in the intensive care unit for a while because the doctors helped her fight against the disease.

Reton was nicknamed “America’s Sweetheart” during his winning performance of the gold medal at the 1984 summer games in Los Angeles.
