The victory of the Abbotsford Canucks in a decisive match 5 of the series of eliminations of the Calder Cup of the American Hockey League against the Eagles of Colorado was spoiled by a launching incident.
Before the Canucks celebrated a 5-0 victory and a place in the Western Conference final, a rowdy fan entered an animated exchange with the Brandon Astle of the team during the live broadcast of the match.
The cannucks are the subsidiary of the Minor League of Vancouver Canucks, while the Eagles serve as a subsidiary for the development of the NHL colorado.

Abbotsford held a 2-0 lead in the semi-final series when a notable noise seemed to briefly distract Astle. The diffuser revealed that the noise was the result of a fan throwing a chair, which finally hit him in the leg.
“I have a little Yahoo song from behind. Get out of here! What was he doing? Safety! Try again,” said Astle.

After the match, Astle went to her social media platform to apologize for his management of the situation.
“I could have managed this better, but I was in shock and be pulled as you can say, because it has never happened to me … I know that a Yahoo does not reflect the organization of the Eagles or their fans and was apparently found and expelled,” he wrote on X.
The Canucks will meet the Texas Stars in the conference finals. The winner will head to the Calder Cup final. Match 1 of the series begins on May 29.
