Chinese technological advancement has exceeded the West in key fields, including defense, artificial intelligence and green innovation, according to the remarks made by Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed during a high -level global dialogue in Beijing.

Speaking at the opening of the world dialogue of political parties on “Asia in a changing world“”Senator Mushahid said that China had become a “scientific superpower” and reshaped the global dynamics not by conquest, but by peaceful economic development.

Chaired by Senator Mushahid in his role as co -president of the International Conference for Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), the dialogue brought together representatives of 250 political parties in 29 countries. The conference was organized by the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party (IDCPC) in Beijing.

In a striking geopolitical statement, Mushahid also described China as “part of South Asia” and “a source of stability in the region”, noting its peaceful relations with almost all neighbors despite the borders with 14 countries. He stressed that the border dispute with India should not define bilateral relations and must be resolved peacefully.

The panel also presented high -level political figures, notably the Minister of IDCPC, Liu Jianchao, the former Thai president Bokin Balakula and the former Mongolian Minister for Foreign Affairs Damdin Tsogtbaatar.

Liu has echoed Mushahid’s remarks, saying that China is not intended to export its political model, but offers its experience to reduce poverty as a plan for developing countries. “The increase in China has occurred by reforms and development,” said Liu, adding that China remains attached to cooperation and peaceful coexistence in South Asia.

The presence of Pakistan at the conference was notable, with former president of the Senate Nayyar Hussain Bokhari, Senator Anusha Rehman, the ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi and several representatives of business and present reflection groups.

On the sidelines of the event, Liu held a separate meeting with Senator Mushahid, discussing high-level exchanges between the two countries, including his own visit to Islamabad in June 2024 and the recent trip to the Pakistani Deputy Minister Ishaq Dar in Beijing.

The conference also received messages from congratulations from the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and Malaysia, stressing the importance of the event in the development of future regional cooperation.
