Mamma Mia! Franchise producer, Judy Craymer, has teased that Sabrina Carpenter could play the main role in the third episode of the film to come.
Talk to Deadline On Wednesday, the producer expressed her interest in launching the pop star, saying that she could consider Sabrina playing a role in a third film in the works.
“She would be a goddess or a relationship that would look a lot like Meryl Streep,” said Judy at the point of sale.
The 67 -year -old producer also referred to the potential appearance of Sabrina, saying: “This will happen when it happens.”
In the interview, Judy confirmed to the point of sale that the script Mum Mia 3 has been written.
“Well, we know what we want to do with the film, and it will happen,” she said. “And I mean, we have gathered this amazing group of movie stars which were all connected through it and huge friendships have evolved.”
However, the release date of the next episode of Mum Mia has not yet been revealed.
