The Samsung Galaxy Watch watch line is expected to obtain another update in the coming months in the Samsung Galaxy unpacked summer showcase this year. According to a recent report, it seems that there will only be two models that will make their debut: the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 and a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
The Classic Samsung Galaxy Watch series takes the Galaxy Standard watch line and adds a rotating telescope of diving watch, which also serves as a way to get involved with the watch user interface outside the buttons and touch screens.
As Xpertpick pointed out, the Chinese telecommunications certification council CMIIT exceeded two devices labeled SM-L3350 and SM-L5050, which would be The Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic. It seems that they both launched themselves in July 2025 – at the time of the unpacked event of Samsung Galaxy.
The report follows up to previous news that the eight generation of the Samsung Galaxy watch line could bring the classic shape factor. The classics tend to appear every two years – we have had a 4 classic watch and a 6 Watch 6 watch, so it is likely that we will also get an 8 Classic watch.
However, the absence of a Watch Ultra 2 certification suggests that we do not get ultra Samsung Galaxy Watch follow -up this year.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 does not come this year?
Although the absence of a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 certification is a surprise, the rumor mill suggests that standard and classic watches should get a similar skip chassis which would at least mean that it is in mind.
Certification is conflict with the previous rumors that went around in April, suggesting that a new ultra model would be revealed in July.
Far from the ultra-specific news, as well as the rotating telescope, the 8 and Watch 8 Classic watch should obtain the gemini ai assistant from Google to the seat. The next version of Google Wear OS 6 will bring Gemini to more laptops, including new Samsung devices.
