Murrier:
Hundreds of students discouraged from the University of Murrier Kohsar have been waiting for diplomas for about six months, because the excessive delay in the issuance of their diplomas by the University has endangered and dangerous.
The slowness of the university has broken the dreams of many students. Despite six months that have passed, the diplomas were not issued, which made students of government jobs miss and other important opportunities.
Students claim to have devoted four years of hard work, time and paid thousands of fees in university, but without their diplomas, they are unable to obtain a job or to pursue higher education.
After the elevation of Murrity at the status of the district, the recruitment processes in various government services are underway, but young locals are unable to apply due to the absence of their diplomas.
Students demanded that the university administration immediately issues the pending diplomas and called on the higher authorities to take note of this serious negligence to avoid more time. If this situation persists, there is a real risk that students will lose precious academic years, for which total responsibility will rest sole on the University of Murder Kohsar.
Private schools challenge government orders
Despite the clear instructions of the Punjab government and the directives issued by the Department of Murdered Education, private educational establishments have failed to put their operations in accordance with official regulations.
Provincial government guidelines seem to have been flagrantly ignored because no reduction in the costs has been implemented, and the collection of exorbitant tuition fees continues tirelessly.
Parents say private schools have become a constant source of distress for students and their families. Parents in financial difficulty face serious economic difficulties due to high tuition fees and the compulsory purchase of school books at swollen and arbitrary prices set by the schools themselves.
The parents affected urgently appealed to the chief minister of Punjab, the provincial minister of education, the commissioner of Rawalpindi, the assistant commissioner of Murrier and the senior officials of the Department of Education.
