Marshal Syed Asim Munnir said that the Pakistani army was fully alert and prepared to respond decisively to any threat and reiterates that peace in Balutchistan is non -negotiable and that the future of Pakistan is directly linked to stable and prosperous Balochistan.

While interacting with the former tribal people during a large Jirga at the Zehri auditorium in Quetta, the army chief praised the bravery and the resilience of the security forces and the staff of the law enforcement operating on Sunday in Balutchistan, a press release published by the Prime Minister’s office.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Marshal Munnir Munnir jointly addressed Jirga, which was organized to interact with tribal leadership and discuss the evolving security situation in Balutchistan, particularly emphasizing war by proxy power fueled by India.

“This war by proxy sponsored by the Indians is no longer hidden, it is an act of malicious terrorism open to our people, our progress and our peace. We have concrete evidence of the hand of India behind the terrorist networks operating in Baloutchistan,” said Marshal Munir.

“These harmful attempts of the enemy will fail. The Pakistani army, with the unwavering support of the Baloch nation and people, will face and crushed each enemy, foreign or domestic, which dares to challenge our sovereignty.”

On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed that proxys sponsored by the Indians operating in Balutchistan had intensified their efforts to undermine peace, destabilize the province and disrupt development initiatives led by the government and the armed forces.
