The second year student Clara Adams, of North Salinas High School, finished second in the preliminaries and quickly left the starting line in the final and headed for a first place, at least she thought.
Adams celebrated with his father after winning the race. She took a fire extinguisher from her father and sprayed her shoes with her, alluding to her fire, Monterey Herald reported. Clara’s father David said the celebration had been withdrawn from adversaries.
“She did not lack respect for anyone,” he said at the exit.

The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) determined that the celebration of Adams was populated and the Adams State championship was carried away. She was also disqualified in the competition and also lost the opportunity to participate in the 200 -meter race.
David Adams said to the point of sale that CIF’s decision had protested and said he had the impression that disqualification was “motivated by racily”. Clara Adams is black.

The decision was confirmed.
“It’s a very unhappy event,” said Alan Green at Monterey Herald. “We all have a broken heart. Clara ran an incredible 400 race and is the fastest 400 -meter girl in the state.
“She was trying to have fun at the finish line after the 400. He was interpreted as an overview. What season and an incredible race. It is unhappy.”
Clara Adams later said that she had the impression that she had been “stolen” and that she was “in shock”.
PK Press Club Digital contacted the CIF to comment.
Adams finished first place in the 400 meter at the Central Coast section championships and finished first in three races during the meeting of the masters of the Pacific Coast athletic league last month.
