- $ 1,000 cheaper when purchased together
As much as I like a good soundbar, my idea of the paradise of Theater Home Theater presents a high -end AV receiver – and the new AV20 and AMP20 of Marantz could be the soundtrack of the home configuration of my dreams.
AV20 and AMP20 are quality quality theater separations, and as you have probably deduced from names, the AMP20 takes care of amplification. And this is a lot of amplification: 200 W per channel on 12 channels, or 400 W per channel at six.
Marantz AV20 and AMP20: Key features and price
AV20 and AMP20 can provide a 13.4 channel surround system – so you are talking about 9.4.4 channels in practice as a maximum configuration of Dolby Atmos. Although they have been forced to work together, they can also be used separately – so for example, you can invest in the more powerful AMP10 and team it up with the AV20.
They are as good to look at as to hear: they have the premium industrial design of Marantz with its distinctive display of a porthole and I think they seem spectacular.
The AV20 A Audyssey Multeq XT32 Room Calibration and Dirac Live (that of an optional supplement) with Dolby Atmos, DTS: X PRO, AURO-3D and IMPROVED IMAX. There are seven HDMI 2.1 inputs and three HDMI outputs with 4K 120Hz and 8K 60Hz support.
Naturally, it works with the Marantz Heos system for several rooms, and it also has Airplay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Old Bluetooth Plain.
The Marantz AV20 and AMP20 are at $ 6,000 / £ 4,750 (about $ 9,880 to) each. But if you buy both together, you will get a large reduction: together, there are $ 11,000 / £ 9,500 (about $ 19,849 in).
