- The Anker Soundcore 3i boom is very water resistant and designed to float
- It has a self-owner function and is also washable
- It has emergency and distribution alarm features
Anker has launched a brand new version of its Fun and Bass Bluetooth speaker, Bassore Boom. The Soundcore Boom 3i promises to do something that no other Bluetooth speaker can do, and it also borrows a clever tip from Apple Watch.
Let’s first talk about this industry. The 3i boom promises a perfect reading even when it floats on the water, even if there are waves: the promise is “no distortion, no shipwreck – just strong and clear audio for kayak, swimming pool festivals and each water adventure”. Basically, he is weighted so that he would float in the water, but the grille from the loudspeaker with point up.
It is extremely resistant to salt water and has been tested at 1 m, although it is not clear if it is also resistant to sharks. However, it has a 96 DB emergency alarm function that you can use to get help if you have a jaw moment, or if you are lost in the desert and you just need someone to be able to find you without being able to see.
And you can also use the speaker to amplify your voice so that your passenger companions hear from afar, for example “AAAAGH AAAAGH AAAGH I am attacked by a shark.”
Soundcore Boom 3i: key features and price
The Soundcore Boom 3i has what Anker calls clean buzz, and he gets rid of dry sand on the speaker by vibrating powerfully pilots, in the same way as the Apple watch ejects water from its speakers using vibrations. And because the 3i is very water resistant, you can pass it under the tap or soak it in the water if the Buzz Clean function does not get rid of all this.
The output power is 50 W, with a bass stroke that goes down to 56 Hz, and the battery life is promised from 16 hours. And in addition to surveying a party at the swimming pool, it can also light it, thanks to its lights synchronized in rhythm.
We really liked the Boom 2, and although we would not describe it exactly as an audiophile experience, it is a powerful and punchy speaker that makes a lot of noise of a surprisingly light speaker. 3i seems to be a valid upgrade to an already fun formula for people who want a real Outdoor speaker.
Until now, the SoundCore Boom 3i has been available in Canada for a launch price of CA 189 (around $ 138 / £ 101 / $ 212 in). Prices and availability for other countries have not yet been announced, but we can’t wait to launch it.
