NVIDIA has been at the center of the controversy since its launch of Blackwell GPU in the RTX 5000 series, with problems concerning missing specifications and pilot problems – and unfortunately, the latter is still a trend after several updates.
As indicated by Videocardz, Nvidia has published a new GeForce Hotfix 576.66 driver, which comes after the game ready 576.52, to correct and approach several game accidents and bugs. This is another addition to the latest pilots ready for Nvidia Ready and Hotfix updates in recent months, most of which have apparently failed to solve some of the lasting problems.
Although this does not seem to affect all users, RTX 4000 and some owners of the RTX 5000 GPU series expressed frustrations concerning the infamous black screen problem, which now seems to occur on restart (even without pilot installation). It seems slightly different from previous complaints, who had a majority of users annoyed by black screens during new pilot installations.
However, the Game Ready Driver 576.52 Reddit discussion suggests the opposite, because users highlight the same installation bug, forcing a restart or by completely ddu (display of the non-staler driver). It is not known exactly what causes the problem, but some users declare that deactivation of G-Sync is one of the solutions.
The installation of one of Team Green’s new GPU pilots is essential, because they are often delivered with a new game or GPU medium, but running in games or system revolution bugs is a big bet. Fortunately, the return to previous pilots does not require too much effort, but the same cannot be said of the users of Blackwell GPU who cannot return to stable and older drivers before the launch of the range.

Analysis: Do the new pilot updates are even worth it to be installed at this stage?
Fortunately, my RTX 4080 Super does not require pilot updates for features, unlike new Blackwell GPU. The problem is that I lack important assistance updates for games; Is it worth avoiding boring bugs, however? The simple answer is yes.
I always use Game Ready Driver 572.47 from February, which was the most stable for me. He came after having encountered the problem of the notorious black screen during the installation of a new GPU pilot and the attempt to restart my system, finally pushing me to return to 572.47.
You might say that I am paranoid or reacting excessively, but I do not think that I am wrong to say that caution is justified with the recent updates of the Green team – and I know that I should ultimately take the risk, but I do not think that I will do it until it is absolutely necessary …
