George Kirby narrowly missed a devastating injury on Tuesday evening when she was on the mound.
The Seattle Navy pitcher took a line of 102.7 MPH by car to the face, causing bleeding from the mouth.
With two fifth round withdrawals, Kirby launched a quick bullet inside the third basic player of the Ramón Urías Orioles, which he quickly torn in the middle. Baseball struck Kirby’s face, and he immediately jogged the ground while blood flowed from his mouth.

Kirby left the match, but he was struck by the ball on his 95th throw, so it’s probably that his night was perhaps finished anyway.
“I didn’t even see him coming,” said Kirby. “I just got my hand. So just happy that he missed any bad places on my face.”
“It didn’t even hurt, honestly,” Kirby said after the match, via MLB.com. “He had my hand – like 50/50, hand / mouth, but we are good. There is nothing wrong with that.”
Kirby was quickly examined by the naval training staff after manager Dan Wilson called a “scary” moment.

The start of the 27 -year -old right -hander season was delayed until the end of May due to the inflammation of his shoulder, and he had not yet launched his level. When he entered the season, he owned a 3.43 MPM in his career, but this number of this season is up to 8.56, even after five shots of two points on Tuesday.
“I’m feeling good right now,” said Kirby. “Obviously, you don’t want to launch so many land in five rounds, but I’m happy to feel really good after that. So it’s a good sign.”
