Hafizabad:
A key suspect in a gang rape case was killed during an alleged police meeting near Jorian in the Uncha mangat region, while three of his accomplices have succeeded in fleeing, according to officials from the Crime Control Department (CCD).
The CCD said that the operation had been carried out on the basis of intelligence reports on the presence of suspects linked to a recent gang rape incident.
During the raid, the suspects would have opened fire to the agents of the application of the laws of the interior of a building.
The police retaliated in self -defense and, during the exchange of gunshots, a suspect, identified as Khawar, was fatally shot down – by balls drawn by his own accomplices during the cross -fires.
The three remaining suspects have escaped and are currently wanted during an in progress man hunt.
Police sources have revealed that Khawar, as well as his associates Ikraam Mangat, Laeeq and Chand, would have removed a husband and a woman under the threat of a weapon and subjected them to a sexual assault. The suspects would have forced the couple to engage in sex while turning the incident.
The video was then shared online, arousing wide indignation.
The incident caused rapid measures of the district police officer (DPO) Nazir, who ordered an immediate investigation and a repression against the accused.
The authorities have confirmed that efforts are underway to understand the remaining suspects and that other legal proceedings will follow.
Earlier Wednesday, the complainant complainant in a gang rape case which took place in Mangat Uncha on April 25, registered her declaration under article 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the Civil Judge and the magistrate of the Ali Naqi Tipu region, detailing the events involving abduction and aggression.
More than a month after the gang rape incident and sexual violence, the police recorded a first information report (FIR) on June 3.
The incident involved three armed men who would have raped a woman in front of her husband under the threat of a firearm, while one of the suspects recorded the assault by video. The case acquired a renewed emergency after the explicit images surfaced on social networks.
