- The Apple C1 modem could be the beginning of something big
- We will certainly learn more about the future on our faces
- A homepod with a display would be a boon for developers
Macbooks go MacBook, the iPhone goes iPhone, but what about the new Apple equipment? Although the World Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025 is not a boon for new Apple products, it could offer our best index to a medium and more distant future for Apple Hardware, beyond the next processor upgrades.
Before entering exciting things like glasses, I am above all excited to hear news on the experience of Apple’s chipset C1. The Apple C1 chip is the 5G modem that feeds network capabilities for the iPhone 16th, and it may be Apple’s secret weapon for future products.
Most companies that make phones, tablets and laptops count on one or two large flea manufacturers to provide networking equipment. If you want a connected mobile device, you need Qualcomm, or Mediatek or Samsung equipment.
The Google Pixel 9, for example, uses the G4 Tensor G4 processor designed by Google and a Samsung Exynos 5400 5G modem. Apple has tried to avoid counting on Qualcomm for years, but Qualcomm manufactures the most advanced 5G equipment and can produce the greatest quantity.
Enter the C1, the first 5G chipset designed by Apple, without any other flea manufacturer. It is not as powerful or effective as Qualcomm’s modem chips, but it does the job and the difference can be negligible for most users.
I would like to see news on the C1 chip and all possible successors at WWDC. Apple has never offered MacBook laptops with integrated cellular connectivity, so it would be exciting to see the new Apple equipment that takes advantage of the new company’s networking chops.
Apple Vision Pro and Visionos will always be exciting and new
Of course, Apple Vision Pro will be a highlight of WWDC 2025 because the singular device has the most recent and unique software, and WWDC is a question of software development.
The rumors suggest that Apple could launch new controllers or care for the pro-vision controller, which would give us an idea of how the platform is progressing.
But what do users ask? What should repair for the next generation? Personally, I would like to know more about a Lite Visionos version, because it could lead us to advice on the next to come from the coming smart on which which may be worked.
Apple Vision Pro is a more robust device and focused on productivity compared to the meta-ray-ban intelligent glasses or the latest prototypes of Google XR glasses. A visionos in relation would be the first sign that Apple seeks to withdraw his pro vision outside the office and in nature.
How about a new homepod with display?
I expect to hear interesting news on Apple at home, and we could see a new homepod device around WWDC Time. Rumors suggest that the HomePod could earn a display, which would mean a new opportunity for developers. A new screen for the house would be a perfect material ad to complete the focus of the WWDC developer.
I would not expect Apple to stop with a small homepod. If the HomePod gets its own screen, will it have its own operating system? Will it just be an iPados device, or could there be a new Apple homeos on the way? If it is the latter, we could see many new Apple Home products with display, applications and new software to start.
There is a lot of room to cultivate Watchos and compete with Google
Finally, I expect to learn more about my health, because there are so many innovations in healthy clothes apparently on the horizon. Apple has made progress in monitoring glucose or monitoring metabolism? These will be developments in watersheds in health monitoring technology, and each company rushes towards this objective.
Apple must also play catch -up with Google and there are OS partners. Recent wear operations have added features such as AI models on Disvise, zero pulse detection for worst health emergencies, and even gestic controls like Apple Watch introduced.
In other words, there is room for a big leap forward for Watchos and all Apple laptops. Even the AirPods could enter the mixture with new sensor capacities, such as the optical sensors of rumors on the buds. If Apple announces new major developments for health characteristics, the devices will not be far behind.
