We now know which four characters will be published as part of Street Fighter 6‘s Character pass of year 3.
The characters were announced during the Fest 2025 showcase in the summer match, in a humorous trailer with a legendary wrestler (and Street-combatant Pro) Kenny Omega.
The characters you will get in season 3 are Alex, C.viper, Ingrid and Sagat. And although they are all favorite characters of fans in some respects, it looks like a very safe selection overall.
Alex made his debut Street Fighter 3: New Generation, and was indeed the face of this game. It also appeared in Street Fighter 5.
C.viper was undoubtedly one of the most emblematic beginners of Street Fighter 4, And his omission of Street Fighter 5 Certainly left fans in the cold.
Ingrid is interesting because it actually appears in two games – one of them was Capcom Fighting Evolution, that many fans of combat games would prefer to claim did not exist (although it was playable again today via Capcom Fighting Collection 2). She also appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, A PSP port often considered among the best that the Alpha sub-series has to offer.
Finally, there is sagat. Cool.
As for what you can expect to play as new characters, Capcom has published windows for them in a post X / Twitter. Sagat was released first in “summer 2025”, followed by C.viper in “fall 2025.” The third is Alex at the “beginning of spring 2026”, with Ingrid closing the year at “end of spring 2026”.
