Islamabad:
On Friday, Pakistan unequivocally sentenced the air strikes by Israeli forces on the southern suburbs of Beirut and certain parts of southern Lebanon on June 5, 2025.
These attacks, launched on the eve of Eidul Azha, constitute a blatant violation of international law, the sovereignty of Lebanon and the cease-fire agreement of November 2024, according to a press release published by the spokesperson for Foreign Office.
He added that the reckless use of the force threatened with civilian lives, feeds regional instability and undermines efforts for lasting peace. Pakistan is in solidarity with the people and the government of Lebanon, during this difficult period.
