Karachi:
Friday, the Sindh government approved a ban on four-seater and online rickshaws as well as the sale of tinted windows, police lights and sirens.
The meeting chaired by the Minister of the Interior Ziaul Hassan Lanjar discussed the changes in the rules of motor vehicles also approved the outsourcing of the fitness of the engine vehicles.
IGP SINDH and law secretaries, transport and public transport, accusation and taxation, as well as excavation traffic, were present at the meeting.
They approved compulsory fitness certification for commercial and non -commercial vehicles, it was decided that a project would be prepared and subject to the government for the approval and ratification of modifications.
Participants approved a complete ban on the four-seater rickshaws and decided to make oil tankers and waste compulsory to install trackers and sensors. Minister LANJAR said that third -party services will be committed to issuing fitness certificates to commercial and non -commercial vehicles, with official understanding of understanding (MOUS) signed with them.
Violation fines have also been approved, notably RS200,000 to a fine for driving government vehicles, 25,000 rupees for motorcyclists who lead against traffic and 100,000 rupees for four wheels violating one -way rules.
Motorcyclists driving without a license must be sentenced to a fine of 25,000 rupees, while car drivers must be sentenced to a fine of 50,000 rupees for violation. Meanwhile, the first wheel or drift offenders must be sentenced to a fine of 100,000 rupees, going to Rs 200,000 and RS300,000 for repeated offenses.
Minister Lanjar also approved the installation of at least five cameras in heavy vehicles / loadus. In addition, E-Challans for traffic offenses will be delivered to the registered real estate addresses from vehicle owners, and vehicles with unpaid fines will not be approved for sale or transfer.
The Minister has also said that traffic, transport and excise systems will now be linked and exploited online, while dedicated traffic magistrate will be appointed to manage the cases of violation of traffic law.
The Minister of Incisis, Mukesh Kumar Chawala, has full support from the ministry in the application of traffic regulations and stressed that no registration or route permit will be issued to four-seater or more important rickshaws, and repression will be launched against such vehicles on the roads. He also declared that all organizational stages to establish the structure of the vehicle fitness service will be completed quickly, after which the strict application of fitness requirements will follow.
