- The Silverstone FLP01 case brings an old -fashioned charm, with false floppy floppy disks and retro lights
- Arkhive Business Limited is delivered with RTX 5060 Ti and offers real creative power
- Noctua cooling keeps the retro silent shell while modern interns make all the heavy lifting
ARC has unveiled a curious mixture of nostalgia and modern performance with its office system, the “Arkhive Business Limited”, now available via PC Shop Ark.
The Japanese device is housed in the Silverstone FLP01 case, designed after the classic PC-9801 of the 1980s, and has a distinctive style, including a false 5.25-inch bay cover and simulation lights.
Vintage aesthetics can evoke beige memories of numbering tones and back prompts, but its interns suggest something much more capable, perhaps even worthy of being used as video mounting or workstation PC, if it is judged only on specifications.
Nostalgia encounters modern power
The basic models are available in two CPU versions: Core of Intel Ultra 7 265 and Ryzen 7 9700X of AMD. The two models are associated with 32 GB of RAM and a NVME SSD of 2 TB, and are cooled using a nightlife cooler, a name respected for silence and efficiency rather than on the flair.
The graphics are managed by the new GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, of which 16 GB of VRAM places it squarely in the mid -range performance medium.
Although this may not win hardcore players, it should be more than sufficient for creation professionals and could make the system a viable commercial PC for those who need GPU acceleration in Adobe applications or 3D workloads.
Physically, the PC measures 440 x 362 x 170 mm, an imprint which is not particularly compact according to modern standards.
It is delivered with Windows 11 preinstalled Home and includes an 80PLUS GOLD 850W power supply.
However, with a price of 299,800 yen (approximately $ 2,081) and even missing from a standard optical reader (unless added via a limited campaign), some may wonder if the retro shell justifies the cost.
PC Shop Ark now accepts orders with BTO (build-to-command), allowing additional personalization.
The company seems to bet on a mixture of nostalgia and performance to attract buyers, but the Arkhive Business Limited can appeal to the heart than the chef.
