Chris Evans shares an initiate look on his romantic proposal in Portuguese.
The 43 -year -old actor was at the first in New York City of the A24 Materialists this Saturday when he caught up The knot.
During the interview, Evans shared some details on his proposal in Baptista before marrying him in September 2023 in the Massachusetts.
A sweet highlight of the proposal, he said, is that he even repeated for that.
“Maybe I shouldn’t even say that. I offered my wife now in Portuguese – she is Portuguese,” said Evans. “So I learned to say:” Do you want to marry me? “In Portuguese. And I had practiced all week.”
“I had practiced her so much that, when she and I would have breakfast and you almost start to say it out loud and you say to yourself:” Oh my God “”, he added, laughing. “It’s not just a song that is stuck in my head, it will let the cat come out of the bag.”
THE Materialists Star also admitted having become “really nervous” when it was a question of asking the question.
“I actually think that I spoiled it,” he said. “But I still know it!”
Evans has already spoken to extend his family with Baptista and bring another dog to them.
He also already talked about wanting to become a father at some point in an interview in November 2024 with Access to Hollywood.
“The title of dad is exciting,” he said, adding that he wanted to be a “superhero” dad.
