Kershaw expressed after the match that he was a little upset by the cardinals who arise in the match. The cardinals played Matt Adams’ circuit in Kershaw in the 2014 National League division series on a loop before the start of the match at the Busch stadium.

It was not Kershaw’s best moment for the Dodgers, but the team playing the moment over 10 years ago seemed to upset the launcher.

“I think it’s a little Bush League, but I don’t expect anything less from these guys. So it’s not worries,” he told MLB.com.

Kershaw was the winner of the National League MVP and the Cy Young Award during the 2014 season. More than 10 years later, he is still going strong for Dodgers, although expectations are a bit different.

He started five games this season for the Dodgers and has a 4.35 MPM with 15 stick withdrawals. He was the last All-Star in 2023. He missed most of the 2024 season with various injuries.

Los Angeles improved at 39-27 with the victory against Saint-Louis. The defending champions of the World Series are a match before the Giants of San Diego and San Francisco in the western division of the National League.
