While match 3 of the Stanley Cup final has become uncontrollable (the Waloped Edmonton Panthers, 6-1, to take an advance of 2-1), things became Chippy and the Panthers knew that it would probably get worse.
Tkachuk, who found himself in similar situations before, saw the writing on the wall and wanted his team to prepare.
“We talked about it in the third. If you have to punch in the face, take a punch in the face. If you have to cut, take over. Spear, Slash in the Face, whatever the case, you have to take it,” said Tkachuk after the competition.
At one point, Tkachuk took a share of punches in the face of Jake Walman – while being held by John Klinberg.
The match was already 5-1 in favor of Florida when things became more aggressive on the ice. He reached a different level when the EDMONTON striker, Trent Federic, began to associate himself with Sam Bennett (who fought Tkachuk’s brother in this match of the 4 nations) to the point where he poured him on the ice, and Bennett repaired with a few punches while he was riding above Federic.

The Panthers and the Oilers engage in a total fight while Florida takes control of the Stanley Cup final in the victory of match 3
This initial fight led each player to the ice to find a partner with whom a duel, and the referees simply let the fight be played. Darnell of the Oilers and Jonah Gadjovich of the Panthers stimulated the sweaters and threw off -steps, while Aj Greer in Florida was fighting with Mattias Ekholm from Edmonton.
After the fighting disappeared, the nurse, Godjovich, Bennett, Federic, Greer and Ekholm were all called to misconduct and sent the ice for the rest of the game.
However, with almost half of the third period to play, the tension between these two teams competing for the Lord Stanley Cup did not stop. He came mainly from the oilers, because Evander Kane was sent ice for the night after hitting Carter Verhaeghe in the face while he was on the ice.

More penalties would be taken because the clock continued to drop, and at that time, the two teams just hoped that no one would be injured with a large part of this series to play. Even at the final buzzer, the star of the Oilers Corey Perry began to make the loop with several panthers players, while the fans began to throw debris on the ice.
It was really a declaration victory for the reigning champions, who have all types of momentum before match 4 on Thursday evening.
