Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while chaired a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday in Islamabad, expressed his satisfaction with the economic indicators while arguing that the country has now reached a take -off position.

“After defeating India in a conventional war, we must now overcome it also in the economic field. The whole nation is united, and such opportunities are only presented once per century.” He said.

While discussing the budget for the next fiscal year, Prime Minister Shehbaz said the government and the people had faced serious challenges in the past and a half year. He praised the salaried class to play a vital role in economic stability, urging rich and influential classes to also play their role.

He said that the common man and the salaried class played a vital role in economic stability, and that the salaried class has led an important burden in the previous budget, contributing to 400 billion rupees to the national treasury.

Due to the sacrifices, hard work and the efforts of the salaried class, Pakistan has reached a position where it is ready for takeoff, he added, questioning the rich and influential sections of society on their contribution to the country.

He added that positive indicators of economic stability have emerged, with a decrease in the rate of inflation and the rate of policy, an increase in exports and a significant increase in exchange reserves and IT exports. It’s time to focus on economic growth in the current budget, he added.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan had defeated an enemy who claimed that it was incomparable in Pakistan in a conventional war, and now we will also be in the economic field. With determination and hard work, nothing is impossible, and everyone must work together day and night to move forward.

“All the institutions have played a role in economic successes, and it’s time for us to move forward. Added.

“We discussed the situation with the four provinces, and we will also succeed on this front,” he said, while appreciating the hard work of all the ministries, in particular finance, concerning the budget.

Prime Minister Shehbaz has also condemned current atrocities in Palestine and Kashmir, saying that brutality in Palestine is the worst form of oppression in the current era, and the international community should play a role in the realization of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

He deplored that children, girls and innocent Muslims be killed, and such atrocities have never been seen before. He added that the inhabitants of cashmere and Palestine will certainly reach freedom.

The PM reiterated the total support of Pakistan to the Palestinian brothers and sisters, claiming that the inhabitants of Pakistan were standing and will continue to stand with them.
