Foits Jaishankar’s “irresponsible” remarks

Islamabad:

On Wednesday, Pakistan categorically rejected the irresponsible remarks of the Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyama Jaishankar made during various media commitments in Brussels, advising him to refrain from designing misleading accounts to justify their recent aggressive actions.

“The speech of the best diplomats should aim to promote peace and harmony, rather than producing bellicose punchlines. The tone and the tenor of a foreign minister should be proportional to his worthy status,” said the spokesperson for the Foreign Affairs Office in a press release.

Speaking on Tuesday in Brussels, Jaishankar said that when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that “the Sindoor operation” was not over, it was a clear message that “we reserve the right to go after terrorists at any time, anywhere if they had hurt us”.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that for several years, India had embarked on a malicious campaign to induce the international community through a fictitious story of victimization.

“However, the continuous anti-Pakistani diatriber of India cannot hide its sponsorship of terrorism beyond its borders, nor can not cover the oppression sanctioned by the State in the Iiojk. Instead of pointing the others, India should enter its own implication in terrorism, subversion and targeted assassinations,” he added.

The spokesperson also stressed that India was also to refrain from concocting misleading accounts to justify his recent aggressive actions.

“The emerging account of India betrays pure frustration, following a unsuccessful military adventure against Pakistan. Indian leaders would be well advised to improve the norm of their speech and reject their obsession with Pakistan. History will not judge by whom added the strongest – but who acted the darkest,” added the spokesperson.
