Karachi:
The senior minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, said that the alliance between the Muttahida Qaumi-Pakistan (MQM-P) movement and Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) has become obvious, because the two parties that have already challenged the elections against each other stand in the assembly.
Addressing the media of the Sindh assembly’s media corner, Memon pointed out that this alliance could send a new political message, but it has no consequences for the Pakistani peoples’ party (PPP). “MQM policy is well known-it has always avoided local communities elections because of its lack of public support,” he said.
Memon said that the inhabitants of the Sindh had always given their mandate to the PPP. He said that the PPP had eradicated the policy of violence, bodies, extortion and collections of hiding places for forced animals in Karachi. Commenting on the recent conduct of MQM in the provincial assembly, he said that it came from a feeling of political non-all.
Referring to the discharge of the opposition, Memon said: “The drama organized under the pretext of condemning the attack on Iran was exposed. The chief minister began his speech by strongly condemning the cowardly attack on Iran, but the opposition has always chosen to play politics.”
