Kiyan Anthony has had eyeballs over him for years, being a better perspective of the NBA all in high school. But this number has always been multiplied, given who his father is.
His father will soon be the temple of renown Carmelo Anthony, an All-Star 10 times and widely considered one of the best pure scorers in the history of basketball.
Kiyan, like her father, will play university basketball in Syracuse, in his own words, for two years “max”. And now that his father’s play days are over, Carmelo is “more hands on the bridge”.

“I would not say that we are closer (than when he was playing). I would simply say that he looks more like hands on the bridge, more foot on the ground. So, he is there at my games, that he was there, I am able to go to his house and spend a day with him, I have the impression that it was a recent interview with PK Press Club Digital.” So I can spend more time with him and that he’s more time with him It works, and that it came to my games, I have the impression that this is what bought us closer to our link, our connection was still there, but it became stronger and it grew up. “
A father-son link came in a collaboration with Meta, where the duo filmed an episode of “Friends Only” to celebrate Fathers’ Day, where they talked about their relationship, their basketball and the dots of discussion to ordinary threads.
“Being able to collaborate with Meta and Instagram and show our other side out of the field, simply showing our personality and the link that me and my father have, I have the impression that it was an excellent outlet to do it. And it was really fun to work with them. And I have the impression that that’s why we did it,” said Kiyan.
“People see it all the time my games on the sidelines, but never really see, as our real connection out of the field. So I want to do these collaborations and these podcasts, it gives us another chance to really show fans like the type of link we establish and the type of connection we have.”

Kiyan admitted that there was once a “pressure” to be up to the media threw, especially with his line. But at the end of the day, his dreams of the NBA are his own, not those of his father.

“To be honest, at the start of my career, I was not even so good in basketball. So I just have a lot of opinions and people who say that I am not so good and my father is not there because he was still in the league, just me trying to manage it for myself,” said Kiyan. “But while I was starting to improve myself, when I continued to work, people started to take my side, so now I have a lot of fans. Obviously, it’s a lot of hateful there, a lot of mixed opinions, but you know, I just drive, and I look forward to each game, I have a big base of fans.
“My father was never the kind of person to force me that I had to play basketball, that I had to do what he did. So, he just left me rock and let me make my own decisions, but it happened that this is what I wanted to do, and that’s what I fell in love,” he continued. “So now, I have the chance to follow his traces to go to her school, I hope to win matches. Obviously, the NBA is the main objective, but that I go to school for a year or two, it will always be there. So, just trying better.
The first step to live up to Anthony’s name is the star of The Orange, where Melo won a championship in 2003. He was from top to bottom for Syracuse in recent years, but the young Anthony is ready to bring back the days of glory.

“My father has won a national championship. Obviously, that’s the main goal, but even if I go and win matches, to go to the tournament, to win a few games in the tournament, I have the impression that it is a huge success, because in recent years, they have been out of the grid,” admitted Kiyan. “They haven’t done a tournament. They haven’t won many games at a conference. So I’m just going to try to go and really bring the fans base, bring Syracuse back, and everyone knows what it is. They just haven’t been successful in recent years.”
