Cincinnati Reds launcher Wade Miley was recently tabulated as one of the so -called Tyler Skaggs drug suppliers before his death after an overdose in 2019.
Former skagg agent Ryan Hamill, said in a deposition earlier this week that Skaggs told him that he had used pain relievers containing oxycodone, which had been provided by Miley.
The deposit is part of an unjustified death trial filed by the Skagg family against his former Los Angeles Angels. Skaggs and Miley were teammates with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2012 and 2013.

Miley briefly discussed the case on Friday.
“I hate what happened to Tyler. It fears. My thoughts are with his family and friends,” he started. “But I’m not going to sit here and talk about things that someone could have said of me or the same.
Former advertising of Angels Eric Kay was found guilty in Texas to have provided the fentanyl lace -up pills that an autopsy had contributed to the death of Skaggs. He was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison in 2022.

Miley, 38, does not face criminal accusations, and this is not the first time that his name has been in touch with the death of Skaggs. During the phase of determining the sentence of the case of Kay, the prosecutors used a recording of a conversation between Kay and his mother, in which Kay said that Miley was one of the Skagg drug suppliers.
Former New York Mets, Matt Harvey, admitted during the Kay trial that he had provided drugs in Skaggs. The two were teammates with the angels in the year of Skaggs’ death.
Harvey, CJ Cron, Mike Morin and Cam Bedrosian also declared before the court that they had received drugs by Kay.
Harvey and three other players also said that they had received pills from Skaggs and describes the recreational drug consumption of which they witnessed the angels.
Miley signed a one -year contract with the Reds on June 4 and made two departures this season. He underwent a Tommy John operation on his left elbow in May 2024 and signed a minor league agreement with Cincinnati in February.

Skaggs was 27 years old when he was found in a hotel room in Southlake, Texas, before the Angels had to play the Texas Rangers.
