Caitlin Clark is expected to make its long-awaited return to the WNBA hardwood when Indiana fever will welcome the New York Liberty undefeated on Saturday afternoon.
Clark set a quadriceps when defeat 90-88 fever against freedom on May 24 and was first projected to miss two weeks. She was sidelined for five games during a three -week period.
But that does not seem that Clark’s shooting skills have decreased during his time away from the competition.

Shortly after the fever announced that Clark was authorized to play this weekend, the team shared a video of the recruit of the year of the WNBA 2024, emptying a shot from the team’s logo during the before-matching competition on Friday.
“CC locked up,” wrote the team on X.
Clark celebrated by swinging a training jersey in the air and asking for his Indiana teammates to “cry”.

Although the fever gave Clark the green light to return to the action on Saturday, it is not clear how long playing it will get. Clark has told journalists that she dates back to the injury in recent weeks.
“It was certainly a process,” she said. “I think the most difficult part is when you feel really good, and it’s just a process of returning to yourself to go up and down and go out with my teammates. … I’m great, super excited. Anty to go out. Probably shaking a little rust.”

In an Instagram article on Friday, the fever wrote: “She is back … Caitlin Clark is ready to play tomorrow against New York.”
Head coach Stephanie White said on Monday that the team was ready for Clark to “resume the return”, but she hadn’t said if Clark had been authorized for basketball activities. White added Thursday that Clark and Sophie Cunningham, who have been sidelined since May 30, had “limited” representatives during training.
Clark is on average 19 points, 9.3 assists and six rebounds in four games this season.
