Rory McILroy’s relations with the media aroused a response from Golf Influencer Paige Spiranac while the prosecution by another Irish title in the North has struck a major problem at the US Open.
McILroy decided to jump his appearances with the media after the first two laps of the major tournament in Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. He told journalists after his third round on Saturday that he had decided to skip the appearance due to “frustration” with “all”.

He also had some brutal moments on the course. But while he raised his eyebrows with his comments, Spiranac came to his defense.
“Perhaps an unpopular opinion here, but he does not have to speak to the media if he does not want it. It is not necessary,” she wrote on X. “And why when everyone analyzes and always criticizes his movements.
“There is clearly something more that does not happen that we do not know, so maybe we don’t get stuck.”

McILroy also reminded journalists that he had also jumped the journalists after the first round of the Masters and that he was now “doing it a little more often”.
He entered the last lap in the middle of the ranking and would have needed a miracle to catch leaders Sam Burns, Adam Scott and JJ Spaun.
