Govt hikes price price for which according to diviton

The federal government has increased prices for petroleum products up to 7.95 rupees per liter, according to a notification issued by the finance division on Sunday evening.

Based on the recommendations of the oil and gas regulation authority (OGRA) and relevant ministries, the price of gasoline was increased by RS 4.80 per liter, while the price of high -speed diesel (HSD) increased from RS7.95 per liter.

After the increase, the price of gasoline went from RS253.63 to Rs258.43 per liter. Likewise, the new HSD prize is now located at RS262.59 per liter, against the previous RS254,64.

The revised prices came into force immediately from June 16.

The government has cited international market trends as a basis for adjustment. Fuel prices in Pakistan are examined every two weeks, according to world oil prices and the local exchange rate.
