The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could be the next two smartphones launches (all signs indicate a July announcement), and at this stage, we have a good idea of what the two new devices are waiting for.
Leaks and rumors have detailed many of their possible specifications and upgrades, and now, the @Pandaflashpro leak has even been to detail the specific features that Samsung will highlight the phones at the July launch of the July.
Thus, below, you will find the five things on which Samsung could concentrate at its next Galaxy Unpacus showcase – from camera technology to screen sizes.
1. Live Gemini
While Gemini and Gemini Live are Google features rather than Samsung, this last company will apparently speak a lot of these tools when launching the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Gemini is Google’s Chatbot AI, and Gemini Live is a feature that allows you to start conversations spoken with said chatbot. You can also show Gemini what your camera can see, or other images or files, and ask him questions about them.
None of this is new, but we may see the new features of the Gemini cooked in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Fold 7, or perhaps Samsung will simply highlight how much Gemini Live works with a foldable form factor.
According to this leak, Samsung will also highlight other existing AI features such as generative changes for photos and now in short (a tool that offers personalized briefings throughout the day).
2. A new camera with a new visual engine
Samsung will also highlight the capabilities of the camera of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in particular, including its new primary vivaneau of 200mp largely rumor, which would replace that of 50 Mp on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
In addition to the new camera hardware, the company will also highlight new software in the form of an improved version of its provisional engine, which runs behind the scenes to optimize the quality of the photo.
3. A thin and durable design
Samsung will highlight the slim and durable design of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in Galaxy Unbacked, including the “brand new” in ultra-thin glass on its screen. The aforementioned leak does not say exactly how this glass will be improved on the Z 6 Plies, but it will probably be more thin or more durable, or both.
And we have already heard of various sources that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be much thinner than its predecessor, with a source suggesting that the fold Z 7 will only have 3.9 mm thick when it is unfolded and 8.9 mm thick when it is folded. It is down 5.6 mm and 12.1 mm on the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
As for sustainability, we have already heard that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could have improved resistance to water and dust, and that it could have a difficult titanium rear plate.
In fact, Samsung himself said that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be thinner and more durable than the PLU Z 6.
It should be noted that some leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could also be more durable than the previous model, but apparently Samsung will not focus on this if the latter statement is correct.
4. Improvement of the quality of the photo
Samsung would not focus as much on the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which makes sense, because leaks suggest that this device will not get as much upgrades as the Z Fold 7. But according to this last rumor, one thing that Samsung will highlight is the quality of improved photo of the phone.
They do not specify here what will be the cause of this better photo quality, but it is probably a reference to a new version of the provisible engine of Samsung, which would have come both to the next foldable and works behind the scenes to improve the images using the AI.
From what we have heard so far, however, the material of the real camera on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could be unchanged from the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, so there may not be too much for the company here.
5. A better cover screen
The other Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 feature on which Samsung will be concentrated is its cover screen. The source here does not detail what this specific display upgrade could be, but we previously heard that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 can have a larger cover screen of about 4 inches (up 3.4 inch on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6), so it is probably the size that is focus.
This increase should make the Galaxy Z Flip 7 display much more usable, and according to previous reports, the main display could also be larger this year, at around 6.85 inches (compared to 6.7), but this is not mentioned here.
