Calum Scott has bagnted the Brit Billion Award!
The British singer-songwriter received this distinction after having exceeded a billion career flows in the United Kingdom only, and as a surprise, his mother, Debbie Scott, at the London headquarters of the universal music group, presented the trophy to him.
Calum Scott said: “It is an absolute honor to receive the Brit Billion Award. To be recognized and sit alongside artists as incredible that I grew up listening to very surreal – to present it by my mother, who was the biggest supporter of my career, I am even more special.
Among his streaming successes, Dancing has the most, that is to say 330 million British flows, followed by You are the reason out of 260 million flows.
For UNIVERSED, the Brit Billion Award recognizes the artists who have reached a billion British flows in their catalog.
Calum Scott is now joining an elite group of more than 40 recipients, including the Rock Queen group, Whitney Houston, the Rolling Stones and Abba, as well as contemporary superstars such as Lewis Capaldi, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Camila Cabello and Raye.
