The former Cincinnati Reds Corth Circourt, Zack Cozart, was a fervent supporter of Donald Trump while he was beating the former vice-president Kamala Harris for the White House during the 2024 presidential election.

But the unique MLB All-Star traced a line in his support for the President on Monday while Trump called for mass evacuations in Tehran while the tensions between Israel and Iran degenerated.

“If Trump puts us in a war, I will not support it anymore, and I am sure that most of you know that I love Trump,” wrote Cozart in an article on X.

Trump is expected to leave the G7 summit in Canada on Monday evening due to the current conflict between Israel and Iran.

“President Trump spent an excellent day at the G7, even signing a major trade agreement with the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Keir Starmer,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. “Many have been accomplished, but because of what is happening in the Middle East, President Trump will leave tonight after dinner with the heads of state.”

Trump asked that the National Security Council be prepared in the situation room, PK Press Club learned.

Meanwhile, the White House spokesman Alex Pfeiffer rejected information that the US military joined Israel in an attack on Iran.

“This is not true. American forces maintain their defensive posture, and that has not changed. We will defend American interests,” wrote Pfeiffer on X.

Cozart came out in support of Trump before the President’s speech at the National Republican Convention almost a year ago.

“I don’t know, but I can’t wait to vote for Trump … I have honestly never seen the party as united as now … They tried to kill our president … The least we can do is vote !!” He wrote.

Cozart played in the major baseball league from 2011 to 2019. The native of Tennessee was a choice of second round of the Reds in 2007. He played with the Los Angeles Angels for the last two years of his career in 2018 and 2019.
