Kasur:
The Sub-Commissioner (DC) Imran Ali chaired on Monday a meeting of the district peace committee (DPC) and discussed the provisions to maintain the law and order during the sacred month of Muharram.
The additional sub-commissioner Salmun Ayub, the DPC member and the managers of other departments concerned attended Reunion.
The deputy commissioner said that the infallible provisions to maintain peace during the sacred month were the priority of the district administration, adding that all the available resources would be used in this regard.
He urged people belonging to all schools of thought to cooperate with the administration to observe peaceful Ashura.
The assistant commissioner ordered infallible security for the public rally (Majalis) and the mourning processions.
He said suggestions by religious specialists would have the priority to maintain peace during the sacred month, the addition of the control room would be established at Tehsil levels in this regard.
The sub-commissioner underlined the majalis and the routes of the processions would be monitored through CCTV Camaras.
