Matthew Perry’s doctor agreed to plead guilty in the actor’s tragic death.
Dr. Salvador Plasencia admitted that he had illegally given Ketamine to the star of friends, who died of an overdose in October 2023 at the age of 54.
The doctor admitted in a plea agreement that he had given to Perry Ketamine without valid medical reason, weeks before his death, via Variety.
As part of the advocacy agreement, Plasencia could incur a prison sentence of 15 to 21 months, however, the final decision will be given by the judge.
Federal investigators charged Plasencia and four others last year for their involvement in the supply of Perry the deadly medication.
In a conversion with another doctor by SMS, Plasencia would have said: “I wonder how much this moron will pay … Litons.”
Jasveen Sangha, also known as the Ketamine Queen, faces charges to own and distribute methamphetamine and illegally and should also be tried in August.
In addition, three other people, Erik Fleming, Kenneth Iwamasa and Mark Chavez, agreed to plead guilty to the illegal and illegal illegal supply. Individuals, Erik Fleming, Kenneth Iwamasa and Mark Chavez, also agreed to plead guilty of conspiracy to provide ketamine.
