- The Google Pixel 10 series could allow you to use the telephoto lens for macro photos
- This would allow you to pull from the level and avoid blocking the light
- However, macro blows will also be apparently possible with the ultra-large camera
The macro-photography on phones often seems to be a bit of a reflection afterwards, but with the Pixel 10 series, Google could take it more seriously.
This is according to the big titles of Android, which claims that the Pixel 10 and its brothers and sisters – which should include the Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel 10 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold – will have a tele -macro mode.
In other words, if this rumor is right, these phones will be able to use their telephotorajective cameras for macro. This contrasts with the Google Pixel 9 series and most other high-end handsets, which tend to use their ultra-large cameras for macotography.
The advantage of Tele-Macro is that you can take pictures of Macro from further away. It can be more practical, especially when you photograph something that may not appreciate that you take advantage of it, like an insect. And because you can be further from the subject, you will not block the light as much.
But you may still want to get closer sometimes, and the Pixel 10 series should also be covered there, because according to this leak, it will also offer macro capacities with its ultra-large camera.
Thus, in other words, the Google Pixel 10 series could double on macro modes, offering two options where most phones have one at most.
A focus macro
That – and especially the tele -macro mode – is excellent news, because it should facilitate the taking of high quality macro photos, and as a fan of photography which could try to upgrade.
Telephone companies naturally tend to focus on their main and ultra-seller snappers, telephoto goals often in third place and macro being even less considered.
But if you like to take pictures of a wide variety of things under a range of perspectives, it is important to have a wide range of focal lengths you can shoot.
It seems that the Pixel 10 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro XL in particular could offer this, with a wide and ultra -large telephoto lens (probably at the 5x optical zoom), and two differently defined macro modes to be offered – without mentioning the 2x optical quality zoom, which is obtained on the Pixel 9 series by the main sensor.
This could make one of the most complete cameras configurations you will find on a smartphone, and could even bring me back to the Apple side.
